BLS for Healthcare Providers

The AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers class is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training. This course can be taken by anyone who needs a CPR/AED certification card to meet requirements for schooling, job, or other obligations. Some roles requiring this level of certification are EMTs, fire fighters, and nursing students.
This course teaches the skills necessary to recognize cardiac arrest, perform CPR on adults, children and infants including airway adjuncts, use of the AED, and relieving choking in all age groups. All students will receive a student workbook. Upon successful completion of the hands-on skills evaluation and written exam, students receive a course completion card which is valid for two years.
Already have a BLS certification and need to recertify?
The AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers Renewal class is designed for anyone needing to renew an existing BLS certification card. The class will include review of the hands-on skills, final hands-on skills evaluation and written exam. Upon successful completion of the evaluation, students receive a course completion card which is valid for two years.
Note: An existing BLS CPR card is required to enroll in this course.
