Basic First Aid

The AHA Basic First Aid class is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who wants to be prepared to act in an emergency. This course can also be taken by anyone who needs first aid training and a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other obligations.

In this course, you will learn the skills necessary to treat severe bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock, difficulty breathing and other medical emergencies. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card which is valid for two years.

Please note:

This course does NOT include CPR/AED training.
For both First Aid and CPR/AED training consider taking the Heartsaver CPR/AED class separately or alternatively the combination Heartsaver CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid Combo class.
